He is survived by: his son Michael Dewitt (Rebecca) of Screven; his grandchildren, Dillon Dewitt of Screven, Georgia and Ariel Dewitt of Jacksonville; and his goddaughter Tonya Young. He is also survived by grandchildren and great grandchildren.
