He was predeceased by: his wife Martha Janice Owens Woodard; his parents, Jimmie Thomas and Fronna Ruth Woodard; his siblings, Betty Ann Woodard, Robert Jimmie Woodard and Billy Ray Woodard; and his granddaughter Lauren Andreanne Woodard.
He is survived by: his children, James Owen Woodard (Jaime), Kathryn Ruth Schmidt (Jim) and Tammy Lynne Vann (David); his stepdaughter Stephanie Maire Craven (Randy); and his sister Bonnie Jean Fair. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 13th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Hardage-Giddens Riverside Funeral Home (7242 Normandy Blvd, Jacksonville, FL 32205). A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, October 14th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Lake Shore Family Fellowship (2246 Blanding Blvd, Jacksonville, FL 32210).
