She was predeceased by: her husband William "Bill" Andrew McKinnon; her father Fred Mathis; her stepfather Leland Ferguson; and her mother Corinne Elizabeth Grimsley Ferguson. She is survived by: her children, Billy McKinnon (Celese) of McRae, Susan Kerr (Joe) of St. Augustine, Florida, Robert McKinnon (April) of Statesboro and Fred McKinnon (Joy) of St. Simons Island; her sisters, Barbara Teck of Stone Mountain and Patricia Allen (Proctor) of Dalton; her grandchildren, Brittany Wood (Matt), Brooke Smith (Caleb), Ethan McKinnon, Julia McKinnon, David McKinnon (Emily), Jon Michael McKinnon, Will McKinnon, Rebekah McKinnon and Andrew McKinnon; and her great grandchildren, Jameson Wood, Jackson Wood, Billie Kate Smith, Britt Smith, Walker McKinnon and Miracle.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 11th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Community Life Church (202 E Oak St, McRae-Helena, GA 31055). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, October 11th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
