She was predeceased by: her husband's children, Robert and Lori Ann; her husband Paul J. Shields; her children, Robert and Lori Ann; and her siblings, Norma Redington and Robert Collins.

She is survived by: her husband's children, Paula and Gary; her friend Father Michael Larkin; her children, Paula and Gary; her sister-in-law Irene Shields; her nieces and nephews, Mal Redington (Lani), Kay Redington of Jacksonville, Tim Redington of Olney, MD, Judy Kurak of Reston, VA and Kathleen Larabee (Bill) of Pulaski, NY.; and her grandchildren, David, Adam, Brian, Patrick, Grant and Savannah.

She believed most of what we worry about never happens, that a visit to the hairdresser fixes almost everything, that you should always RSVP and sometimes include a note, and that kindness to people is the most important reason we're here at all.
