He was predeceased by: his mother Debbie Hartley; and his brother Alex. He is survived by: his son Alex Hartley; his grandson Logan Hartley; Walter J. Hartley II.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 20th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Naugle Funeral Home (1203 Hendricks Ave, Jacksonville, FL 32207). A memorial service will be held on Monday, October 20th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A reception will be held on Monday, October 20th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Marvin Hartley's Residence (2701 Bishop Estates Rd, Jacksonville, FL 32259).
