The passing of Wanda C. Bender of Jacksonville, Florida, born in Syracuse, New York leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on October 3, 2025 at the age of 97. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
Though her name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Wanda leaves upon the hearts of her loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of her spirit and the richness of her legacy.
She is survived by: her children, Vivian M. Bender-Walker (Kent), Charles E. Bender III (Beth) and James M. Bender (Susan); her grandchildren, Jake Bender, Cole Bender, Anastasia McGriff (Kyle) and Leeza Walker; and her siblings, Michael Church and Linda Church.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Beaches Chapel (1701 Beach Blvd, Jacksonville Beach, FL 32250). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
