He was predeceased by: his father William Duncan, Sr.; his wife Frances S. Duncan; his daughter Brenda Hamel; his son-in-law Jack Hamel; his granddaughter Heather Hamel; his sister Willie Faye Robinson; and his stepsiblings, Martha Beasley, Father Sam Monk and James Duncan.
He is survived by: his children, William Aaron Duncan, III and Lisa A. Duncan; his sister Betty Grace; his grandchildren, William Aaron Duncan, IV (Sarah), Jennifer Duncan Holman (Caleb), Stephanie Hamel Blaney (Mark) and Melanie Hamel Robertson (Sean); and his great grandchildren, Sarah Rockhold, Emily Rockhold, Noah Robertson, Norah Duncan, Luke Blaney and Carl Holman. He is also survived by numerous extended family and friends.
