He was predeceased by: his parents, Winston Daniel and Bea; and his brother Lamar. He is survived by: his wife Faye; his children, Jenny (Bruce) of Cummings, GA, Jimmy (Carolyn) of Cummings, GA, Janine, Renaye and Missy (Chris); his grandchildren, Jay, Tyler (Brieann), Allison, David (Kayla), Mitch (Rachael), Dustin (Monica), PJ, Courtney, Colby (Julianna), Cristyn (Zac) and Caitlyn (Kyle); and his great grandchildren, Paul, Savannah, Nevaeh, Joseph, Tristan, Gavin of Juliette, CJ, Kaleb, Koa, Ivy, Cecelia, Abigail, Blakely, Colton, Cori and Cove.

A memorial service will be held at a later date, and in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project.
