He was loved and cherished by many people including: his spouse Jewel Mims (Lavern); his daughter Sherry Mathis White (Michael); his grandchildren, Aimee White Evans (Justin) and Dominic White (Meredith); his great grandchildren, Owen, Oliver and Solomon; and his brothers, Raymond Jr. (Emma), Clifford (Lillian) and Joseph (Jackie).

Visitation was held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Riverside Event Pavilion (1373 Memorial Park Rd, Jacksonville, FL 32205). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
