With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Yvonne McCarter of Jacksonville, Florida, who passed away on January 10, 2025 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Don McCarter, Sr.; her parents, Don Hammonds and Marium Hammonds; her grandson Trey Bradshaw; and her great grandchild Bronson Roth.

She is survived by: her children, Yvette Patch (Lee) and Don "Bubba" McCarter, Jr. (Cheri); her grandchildren, Mitchell Patch (Mary), Tricia Hernandez (Chris), Trevor McCarter (Zuri), Chris Campbell (Sarah), Cierra McCarter and Don McCarter, III; and her great grandchildren, Bryson, Maeleigh, Koraly, Triton, Everett, Leilani, Avari, Miwi and Mason.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Community Hospice of Northeast Florida.
