He is survived by: his significant other Brenda A. Scott; his children, Toni Callahan, Cherokee Tyson, Lori Dailey (William) and Salon Scott; his grandchildren, Sammie Green, Artrell Johnson, Ebony Wallace, Darian Tarver, Nikkeria Tyson, India Callahan and Jadia Callahan; his great grandchildren, Artrell Johnson II and Kaison Tarver; his siblings, Lillian L. Smith, Patricia A. Bly (Clyde), Ronnice Freeman (Esau), Arnette Ward Patricia Stokes (John), Jacqueline Collins (Robert), Seria Alexander, Richard I Scott, Stanley L. Scott, Juan M. Alexander (Angela), Dexter Alexander (Velma) and Carl M. Alexander; and his nephew David L. Sykes.
