He was predeceased by: his parents, James Cone and Benie Cone; his siblings, Jimmie Cone, Jean Carroll and Lavonne Browning; and his great grandchild Amelia Flannigan.
He is survived by: his wife Doris Williamson Cone; his sons, Farley "Chuck" Cone, Jr. (Nicole) of Milton, FL, James Cone (Candy) of Jasper, FL and Ray Cone (Amanda) of Valdosta, GA; his sisters, Peggy Duncan, Mary Sublett (Bill), Joyce Wells (Andy) and Tammy Berger (Bob); his brothers-in-law, Johnny Carroll, Bert Yarbrough (Linda) and Jim Miller; his grandchildren, Brittany of Michelle, B. J., Ridge, Trevor, Dallas, Nathan, Andrew, Ryan, Gabriel and Alayna; and his sons, Chad Stephens and Scott Stewart. He is also survived by 11 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 25th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Harry T. Reid Funeral Home (901 4th St NW, Jasper, FL 32052). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, June 25th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
