He was predeceased by : his parents, Horce Woodson and Bertha Mae Woodson. He is survived by : his siblings, Horace Woodson, Deacon Willie C. Woodson, Walter Woodson, Maggie Johnson and Rebecca Bradley; his wife Diane Woodson; his sisters, Bertha Peek (Fredrick), Georgia Martin and Patricia Gandy; his aunt Viola Arnold; and his uncle Issac Arnold. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousin, love ones and sorrowing friends.
