She was predeceased by: her parents, Dosie Lee Jones and Willie Reid of Leesburg, FL.; her siblings, Elouise Jones, Addie Clay and Joseph Jones; and her siblings' children, Paul, Darryl Henderson, Clifford Clay and Lucretia Henderson.

She is survived by: her nephew Gerald Cheery; her son Steve Townsend; her grandchildren, Delonshea and Stevonte Townsend; her siblings, Calvin Jones (Jacquelyne), Rosa Bowles and Annie Lee Morris; her siblings' children, Gerald Cherry (Paula), Reginald Cherry, Ulysses Cherry (Charise), Anton Jones, Raymond Edwards, Tina Ingram (Ronnie), Jackie Cobbs (Ken), Marcia Hawkins, Kywana Jones, Dosie Weatherspoon, Mattie Clay, Zedora Weatherspoon (James), Joseph Clay and Edna Mae Clay; and her friends, Dorothy A. Robinson, Juanita McIntosh and Barbara Harris. She is also survived by many other nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
