"Dex" Mote of Jay, FL; his siblings, Lawania Wright (Randy) of Pensacola, Florida and Doug Mote (Suzann) of Pace, Florida; his nephews, Brandon Salter (Nellie) and Tyler Mote (Ashlie); and his niece Heather Cooper (Cory).

Visitation was held on Friday, May 17th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Lewis Funeral Home Jay Cornerstone Chapel (4003 FL-4, Jay, FL 32565). A funeral service was held on Friday, May 17th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
