Scott Whatley Obituary
We are sad to announce that on September 28, 2025, at the age of 90, Scott Whatley of Jay, Florida passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Scott Whatley to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Whatley and Lola Whatley; his wife Lorene Morris Whatley; his siblings, Rev. Lacey Whatley, Tully Whatley, Neil Whatley and Naomi Whatley; his sons, Waymon Whatley and Brian Whatley; and his grandson Scott Lockett.
He is survived by: his children, Wanda Lockett (Gary) of Pace, FL, Debora Orr "Wild Flower" (Charles) of Alexander City, AL, Joanne Norris "White Dove" (Scott) of Alexander City, AL and Timothy Whatley (Teresa) of Alexander City, AL; and his brother-in-law Ray Morris (Nell) of Pace, FL.. He is also survived by seven grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 30th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Trahan Family Funeral Home (6539 Trammel Dr, Milton, FL 32570). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 1st 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
