He was predeceased by: his parents, Betty Thurston and James Thurston; and his sisters, Debbie Sibley and Lynn Spears. He is survived by: his wife Vickie Martin Thurston; his daughter Tracey Thurston Vanasse; and his stepchildren, Daniel Hamilton, James Katz, Ashley Saiyan and Cynthia Katz. He is also survived by two nieces and two nephews.
