He was predeceased by: his parents, James Gerald (Ruth LaFleurBruce) and NJ; and his sister Karen. He is survived by: his wife Patricia; his children, Robert (Natalie) and Susan (Mike); his sister Janet (Peter); and his grandchildren, Kara and RJ.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Treasure Coast Hospice or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
