It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Herbert Edwin Summers of Jensen Beach, Florida, who passed away on August 20, 2025, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Lafe Summers and Eva Summers; his siblings, John, Mac, Mary Hanks and Shelby; and his daughter Brenda Wells.
He is survived by: his wife Evelyn; his grandchildren, Tracy Mitchell (Marvin) of Trenton, Michael Reese (Stacy) of Westerville and Matt Jackson (Elanda) of Roanoke; and his stepchildren, Curtis Horn (Melinda) of Soddy Daisy, Dawn Brill (Dave) of Jensen Beach and Heather Olson (Wayne) of Winter Haven. He is also survived by five step-grandchildren as well as several step great-grandchildren and one step-great-great grandchild.
