She was predeceased by : her parents, Edmund Mihalics and Rosalia Kisslinger Mihalics; her husbands, Francis Chester Ecker and John Walter Kern; and her daughter Andrea Kern.

She is survived by : her children, Lisa, Laura, Linda, Tina, Roberta and Frank; her grandchildren, Christy, Arielle, Alex, Ally, Brianna, Kimberly and Tristan; and her great grandchildren, Mason, Nova Lee, Aurora (Rory) and Tinsley. She is also survived by her cousins, friends, grand nieces and nephews.
