We announce the death of Richard Libby Sanfratello of Jensen Beach, Florida, who passed away on June 9, 2026, at the age of 83. Richard will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Richard will be remembered for the impact he had on the lives of those around him. Friends, family, and colleagues will cherish their memories and the time shared. Those who knew Richard will remember moments of kindness, warmth, and presence. Though words cannot fully capture his life, the legacy of connections and experiences remains. Richard’s absence will be deeply felt by those who valued his companionship.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Sanfratello and Lucille Sanfratello; and his brothers, David and Anthony Sanfratello. He is survived by: his children, Nancy Dougherty (Mark) of Stafford, Tracy Radka (Sean) of Batavia, MaryBeth Sanfratello of Jensen Beach, Rick Sanfratello of Jensen Beach and Jon Sanfratello (Kelly) of North Chili. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; as well as many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Wilmot Cancer Center in support of AML leukemia research and treatment.
