He was predeceased by: his parent Irish; his wife Joan Riordan (Rattigan); and his son Matthew. He is survived by: his children, David (Carol), Thomas (Geralda) and Anne Kessler (Myles); his grandchildren, Kelsey, Galen, Patrick Riordan, Zachary, Dylan and Camryn Kessler; his great grandchild Ari Edward Kessler; his close friend Tecla Yannelli; and his caregiver Lydia Hightower.
