He is survived by: his wife Marlies Hessel Artzt; his children, Wendy Artzt, Karen Husky (Brady), William Artzt, Laura DaCruz and Elizabeth Schmid (Chris); his grandchildren, Megan McNees, Stephanie Husky, Chris Husky and Alex DaCruz; and his great grandchild Kaden Artzt.

Memorial donations may be made in Edwin's name to The Greater Cincinnati Foundation.
