She was predeceased by: her parents, Richard Strong and Marjorie Strong (Heine); and her siblings, Jean Wishart, David Strong, Ruth Murphy, Shirley Anderson and Paul Strong.

She is survived by: her husband Ernest J. Richards, Jr.; her daughters, Tamara Cook (Scott), Misty Pino (Wilbert) and Gina Lorenzo (Eric Hermann); and her grandchildren, Amanda Phelps (Kevin), Katlin McGregor (Josh), Cassady Cook, Kevin Magersuppe (Alex), Brianne Cook, Bayley Osteen (Sean), Matthew Basil (Ciera) and Brain Basil. She is also survived by nine great-grandchildren, along with many extended family members and dear friends.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 13th 2026 at 11:30 AM at the Aycock-Riverside Funeral Home (1112 Military Trail, Jupiter, FL 33458).
