He was also cherished by uncle "JJ" was to his nine nieces and nephews and 12 grandnieces and grandnephews.

“I am sorry to hear of James Strong's passing. He was a part of a group with my brother and I (twins) at Oxon Hill High School and if it wasn't for him, and the others members of the group, I'm not sure how I would have weathered it all. When I think of Jim, I see his mischievous smile and know that adventure awaits wherever he goes. My condolences to all his friends and family, he truly was one of a kind.
