He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Zanowic and Margaret Zanowic; his sons, Tommy Zanowic and Michael Zanowic (Lynne); and his siblings, Jeanne TenHoopen, William and Paul.
He is survived by: his wife Maryann Zanowic; and his children, Susan Setrin (Jeff), James J. Zanowic Jr. (Cindy) and Peter Zanowic (Mary). He is also survived by ten grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
