She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas McManus and Myrna McManus (McKenna); and her son Brian Flannery. She is survived by: her husband Richard Bursaw; her daughter Tara Purrington (Michael) of Chelmsford, Massachusetts; her grandchildren, Aaden, Owen and Teagan Purrington; her siblings, Tenley McDonough (James), Laurie McManus Hebrank (Joseph) and Chad McManus (Diane); and her siblings' children, Danielle Wells (Jeremy), Cory, Paige McDonough, Lauren and Devon McManus.
