He was predeceased by: his parents, Pierre Charest and Jeannette Charest (Bernard); and his siblings, Joseph, Roger Charest, Yvette Janick and Florence Schilling.
He is survived by: his wife Beatrice Charest (Camire); his daughters, Cathy A. Thompson of Seabrook, TX and Cori A. Mansour; his sister Irene Palmer of San Diego, CA; his grandchildren, Thomas Markiewicz, Jr., Kimberly Dobbins, Amy Markiewicz, Evan Mansour and Jordan Mansour; and his great grandchildren, Carys Markiewicz, Ava Markiewicz, Haven Dobbins and Trystin Smith. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
