He was predeceased by: his parents, Daniel Rich and Donatuccia Rich; and his daughter-in-law Victoria Rich. He is survived by: his wife Maryellen Monroe Rich; his sons, Daniel Rich and Perry Rich; and his granddaughters, Shannon Rich and Allison Carpio (Daniel). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
