He was predeceased by: his wife Geralyn Peterkin; and his parents, Roger O. Peterkin, Sr. and Geraldine Hull. He is survived by: his children, Roger O. Peterkin, III of Wellesley, Leslie Crill of Monroe, Mark Peterkin of Centerville and Kimberly Brisky of Stuart. He is also survived by ten grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Perkins School for the Blind, the Storm King School, or the American Cancer Society.
