She is survived by: her husband Dr. Lee Fox; her sister Jami; her brother-in-law Jeff Chaban; her nephews, Zachary and Noah Chaban; her parents, Marilyn Simon and Fred Simon; and her mother-in-law Carol Fox.

Shari donated her time and efforts to the Jupiter Medical Center Foundation and she and Lee chaired the Annual Ball and Highballs and Hibiscus event.
