He is survived by: his wife Marie Phyllis; his daughter Dr. Cathy Savage-Dunn; his son-in-law Robert N. Dunn; his son Dr. Stephen J.; and his grandchildren, Stephanie Dunn, Shannon Dunn, Chelsea Savage and Robert W..

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Alzheimer's Association or the FDNY Foundation would be greatly appreciated.
