He was predeceased by: his father Edward Melvin. He is survived by: his mother Mary Melvin of Brick; his friend Walter Matts; his wife Susan Melvin (Hughes); his sisters, Eileen Graham (Gordon) and Maryellen Mustacchio (Ron) of Brick; his siblings-in-law, James Hughes, Richard Hughes (Theresa), Patricia Hughes and Catherine Fuzia; and his friend Sandra Matts. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
