He was predeceased by: his parents, Merle James and Lucy Etta Stitham; his wife Vera Habberfield MacDougal; his daughter Linda; and his siblings, Merle, Joyce, Dale, Richard and Gerald.
He is survived by: his son Raymond Lloyd MacDougal Jr.; and his grandchildren, Branden Ruscitto, Shenandoah Spross-Charette and Bryantt Spross. He is also survived by many cousins nieces and nephews.
