He was predeceased by: his parents, George Washington Walker (Gwendolyn Grant Walker) and Doug of Paul's Episcopal School; and his brothers, Robert "Bobby" Walker (Sue) and George Randolph "Randy" Walker (Carol). He is survived by: his wife Linda A. Walker of Key West; his children, Douglas "Grant" Walker, Jr. (Jenna) of Cambridge and Edith S. Walker of New Castle, Colorado; his grandchildren, Hemingway Harris, Lincoln Walker-Harris, Aurora Walker and Lillie Walker; his sister Anne Holmes of Washington, D. C.; his former wife Arden Scott of Southern Pines, NC; and his pet Ghost. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Spedden United Methodist Church, the Florida Keys SPCA, or to a charity of your choice in Doug's name.
