He was predeceased by: his parents, John Bamford and Pauline Bamford; and his brother Jeff Bamford. He is survived by: his wife Marilyn Bamford; his children, Robert Bamford (Stacey), Marilee Barone (Jeffrey) and Holly Bamford (Shannon Carroll); his grandchildren, Jason Bamford (Heidi), Marisa Iezzi (Kyle), John Barone, Elizabeth Giles (KJ), Caroline Barone, John Carroll Bamford and Matthew Carroll Bamford; and his great grandchild Joel Bamford.
