He was predeceased by: his parents, Martin E. Slater and Juanita McClain Slater. He is survived by: his wife Geraldine Slater; his children, Stacey Clatterbuck (Greg) and Jonathan Scott Slater (Robyn); his granddaughters, Emma Clatterbuck, Ashlyn Floyd, Ryleigh Slater and Madisyn Slater; and his brothers, Daniel Slater (DeDe) and Michael Slater (Kimmi). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Jones-Gallagher Funeral Home - Keystone Heights (340 E Walker Dr, Keystone Heights, FL 32656). A memorial service was held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
