She was predeceased by : her parents, James Griggs and Lillie Griggs (Kilgore); her husband Charles Wicker; her daughter Llewellyn Nienkerk; and also, Rev. William Griggs and Hugo Griggs.

She is survived by : her daughters, Sara Deneen (Sally) of Navarra, Lily Irwin of Melrose and Charla Swale of Yorktown; and her sisters, Sara Elliott of Madrid and Shirley Dismukes of Opelika, Alabama..
