He was predeceased by: his parents, Colonel L. Keefer and Blanche Keefer; his former wife Alice; his son Thomas; his grandson Stephen; and his brothers, Richard, Wade and Lesley.
He is survived by: his wife Betty; his children, Diana, Donald and Deborah; his stepchildren, Randall, Anthony and Kristie; and his sisters, Elsie, Sheila and Jean. He is also survived by his 15 grandchildren, and 12 great grandchildren.
