He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur F. Ruest and Regina "Jean" Cote Ruest; and his son John Ruest. He is survived by: his wife Lois Barbeau Ruest; his daughters, Michelle Ruest Overstreet of Kissimmee and Linda Sheldon of Massachusetts; his siblings, Robert "Bobby" Ruest of Massachusetts and Judy Regan (Mike) of Massachusetts; and his grandchildren, Savannah Overstreet, Gracie Overstreet, Chad Ruest, Chris Ruest and Cody Ruest. He is also survived by 4 great-grandchildren.
