He is survived by: his wife Elaine Manges; his children, Jennifer MacNeil and Stacy Deitrick; his grandchildren, Matthew MacNeil, Sydney MacNeil and Roman Eckstein; and his brothers, Kenny, Larry and David. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews.

The family welcomes donations in Charles' memory to Greater Cleveland Fisher House (greaterclevelandfisherhouse.org) in lieu of flowers.
