With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Claude A. Colas (Kissimmee, Florida), who passed away on July 30, 2022 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his siblings, Paul "Fito", Anne-Marie, Denise, Frédérick, Lucien, Jacques, Bernadette and Olga; and his nephews, Guyto and Alan.
He is survived by: his children, Army Officer Ernest Colas, Seamstress Elzura Nicoleau-Colas and Hendrik "Ricot" Colas; his grandchildren, André and Ariana Colas; his nieces and nephews, Josfère, Ronald, Dirk-Audy, Robert, Evens, Joël Curtiss, Ernest, Yvrose, Régine, Carine, Joan, Lilian, Nancy and Aurélie; his brother Malherbe; Maria Luisa Colas.
By way of his benevolence, he donated regularly to needy Organizations such as the Catholic Foundation of Central Florida, Easter Seals disabilities services, Food for the poor, Inc., Girls and Boys Town, National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial fund and the Osceola County Sheriff's foundation.
