He was predeceased by: his father Bernardo Rivera. He is survived by: his wife María Irma Rivera; his children, Luis Rivera (Lillian), Elsa Juarbe (Angel), Rosa Rivera and Jorge Rivera; his grandchildren, Angel Juarbe, Luis D. Rivera, Vanessa Juarbe and Melissa Rivera; and his great grandchildren, Avianna Espinal and Adrian Espinal.
