He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Earl Gommel and Helena Gommel; and his children, Douglas Wayne Gommel of Winchester, Michael Ryan Gommel of Kissimmee, Florida, Kimberly Denise Gommel Jerome (Jerry) of Columbus, Sharalynn Renee Gommel Lake (Seth) of Nashville and Kristynn Marie Gommel of Kissimmee, Florida. He was also cherished by grandchildren and his 8 great grandchildren.
