She was predeceased by: her parents, Kenyute Rodney and Adina Henry Rodney; her daughters, Carol and Shelly; and her siblings, Brenton Lawrence and Winter Campbell.

She is survived by: her children, Charles A. Brown (Melody) of Temecula, California, Ajajielle A. Brown of Syracuse and Stacey Brown of Baltimore, Maryland; and her siblings, Alrick Constable of St. Ann, Sidney Constable of Clarendon, Eslin Smith (Talbert) of Santa Monica and Jamaica Carmen Constable. She is also survived by 6 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.
