She was predeceased by: her parents, Juan Sanchez and Monica Rodriguez; her siblings, Doris Sanchez and Indolfo Sanchez; her husband Jose Velez; and her son Ernest "Tito" Velez.
She is survived by: her children, Samuel Velez (Kearly) and Maria Bracero (Domingo); and her grandchildren, Ana Maria, Jose, Melissa, Amanda, Andrew, Stepfanie, Matthew, Kristina, Jordan, Dominic and Samuel Jr. Still. She is also survived by her 13 great-grandchildren.
