He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Pleitgen and Gladys Pleitgen; and his siblings, Edwin (Eddie), James Pleitgen (Jimmy) and Donna Lundgren.
He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Jean; his daughters, Tina Marie Culbreth and Kimberley Ann Flammer; and his grandchildren, Logan James, Lauren Olivia, Aidan Alexander, Austin Michael and Landon Michael.
