He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel and Berniece (Prince); his son Gary S. LaRue; and his siblings, Steven LaRue and Joyce LaRue.
He is survived by: his husband Edward W. Collins, Jr. of Kissimmee, FL; his daughters, Joyce Pearson of Cape May, NJ and Alicia LaRue of St. Petersburg, FL; his grandchildren, Jimmy Pearson, Jesse Pearson, Jayden LaRue and Jacque Pearson; and his brother Douglas LaRue of New Hope, PA.. He is also survived by nieces and nephews and countless friends that spread through his career and extended family.
