He was predeceased by: his parents, William Edward Jr. and Fern Crews (Fisher); his brother Stephen "Big Dog" Allen Crews; and his grandmother Madge Fisher. He is survived by: his wife Shelley M. Crews (Oliver) of Kissimmee, FL; his children, Danielle R. LaRoche (Todd) of St. Cloud, FL, Andrew W. F. Crews (Kristin Ferry) of Plainfield and David M. Crews (Brooke Abney) of Chicago; his grandchildren, Nicholas J. Usewicz, Anthony P. Usewicz, Dylan L. LaRoche, Bryce M. LaRoche, Jude E. Crews, Reid M. Crews, Duke W. Crews, Dane B. Crews, Vaughn H. G. Crews and Maclayne L. Crews; his brother Randolph W. "Bucky" Crews; his nephew Logan Crews of Momence; his sister-in-law Frannie Crews (Mayotte) of Bradley; his nieces, Debi Walsh (John) of Cabery and Julie Kaminke (Tom) of Longwood; and his brother-in-law Mike Crews (Julie Zullo) of Manteno. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews; and several more brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made for his grandchildren's continued education and books.
