He was predeceased by: his parents, Nicholas Plavac and Mary Plavac; his wife Mary Plavac; and his siblings, Ralph Plavac, Nicholas Plavic, Milan Plavac and Mary Dobos.
He is survived by: his children, Tommy Plavac of Gainesville, Florida, Susan Heidkamp (Terry) of Celebration and Marianne Sweeney of San Diego, California; his brothers, Donald Plavac (Jean) of Cleveland and Joseph Plavac of Cleveland; his sister-in-law Joanne Plavac of Cleveland; and his sister Barbara Ann Plavac of Naperville, Illinois. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
